Which aspects do you think makes a person unique?

Each one of us has a unique personality.

No two individuals will be the same , including twins .

This uniqueness of each one of us is what  makes us unique .

Let’s celebrate this diversity in each of us and not try to feel insecure about the difference.

Let’s not become so uniform in our thoughts, religion, culture, traditions that we start othering individuals who don’t fit in our so called cohesive and uniform group.

We humans are very strange species.

Science has proved that all humans are 99.9% genetically identical and only 0.1% of genetic variations are responsible for the phenotypic differences, such as physical traits (eg, height, intelligence, hair, and eye color), disease susceptibility, and drug responses, among individuals in populations.

We are identical, but still discriminate based on gender,caste, creed, language, religion, language, states and countries.

Discrimination is fine with us , but accepting diversity is not.

We are identical but still we aspire for homogeneity and uniformity .

We are still apprehensive , fearful of  heterogeneity.

Let’s embrace this mishmash potpourri of our homo sapiens as a distinctive feature of our survival and peace .

And all will be well in this world.
