Stifle

If you could permanently ban a word from general usage, which one would it be? Why?

We humans though confront each other daily , are not comfortable with discussing our conflicts and resolving them.

We believe in sweeping under the carpet whatever we wish to ignore or overlook.

This, I believe has dangerous consequences.

A human voice is smothered , suppressed and concealed.

The more we try to cover up our issues, differences or view points , the more resentment is developed.

It’s like a volcano waiting to erupt.

Volcanoes spew hot, dangerous gases, ash, lava, and rock that are powerfully destructive in nature .

A human voice hushed up, ignored , stonewalled for long, will also erupt one day and the consequences will be more perilous than a volcanic eruption .

Hence I feel we all need to talk, communicate more , be tolerant and patient when someone is voicing his opinion , not try to stifle, gag, muzzle or redact his or her viewpoint.
