Do you see yourself as a leader?

For me whether you perceive yourself as a leader depends on what your thoughts are on , whether leadership skills are embedded in a person or whether a person can imbibe them by learning?

If I don’t think , I definitely will say , a leader is born, not made, well maybe some situations or circumstances may bring to light the inherent leadership skills .

Our freedom fighters, due to contingency had to take up the cudgels on behalf of the nation to enable all of us to throw off our yoke of slavery and become free.

I strongly believe that leaders have natural and very instinctive capabilities of problem solving, decision making thus ensuring , guiding and encouraging a group of people collectively and collaboratively to achieve individual as well as common goals.

But today with such structured management, leadership and mentorship programs available in aplenty, leadership expertise can be developed and learnt .
