My World

What do you enjoy most about writing?

I like writing

It takes me in my world where only I , me and mine exist .

I like writing

It takes me back to a world where only love and affection exist.

I like writing

It takes me to a make-believe , dream like world created by me where the identity of all is only and only human.

I like writing

It allows me to weave stories like pearls woven in a necklace where each pearl , I pick and chose as per my liking .

I like writing

It allows me to compose poems as per my mood – Sad, Happy, Grief, Joy , of Love , Passion, Giving, Receiving .

I like writing

It gives me a lot of peace and tranquility as I can vent, rant and detoxify myself.

I like writing

It is my Go to when I need to express or explore, explain or even experience my emotions, sentiments and feelings.

I like writing

It lets me be vulnerable and transparent and true to myself

I like writing

It lets me be narcissistic and encourages me to indulge in Self Love and Self Care.

I like writing

It lets me laugh and poke fun at myself and realise that I am just a minuscule part of this universe.

I like writing

It lets me dispense fitness and health tips and salivate my running journey.

I like writing.

It lets me go on my ego trip and satiate my self actualisation goals with ardor and propensity.

I like writing

It has introduced me to this wonderful world of blogging . To this wonderful platform WordPress and to all you wonderful and supporting friends who endure, suffer, tolerate but still accept me , my self inclined images and selfies 😁😁 and ofcourse my free flowing quill.

  7. Wow great blog and answer about what you enjoyed most about writing. As for me, I like to write because it allows me to write what I think about a subject, to be creative and to share with the world my talent of writing. Writing is like riding a bike, once you get used to the speed you just take off till you reach the finish line. Plus, writing allows Writers to be a primary source of gathering information since you will be informing your target audience about that subject matter💯

  8. Hey there! I am new to blogging and learning as I go. I thoroughly enjoyed your article it is all more. Writing again after years of absence has brought me healing as I unpack the story of my challenge by story. Thank you for sharing yourself and your love for writing. I received a note on this my 3rd day of writing not to hang my washing out for all to see!
    I write what I like by Steve Biko perhaps says it all. Writing is for me living consciously. It’s a chance to let your fingers do the walking and your mind do the talking. It’s cathartic and it’s keeping me alive as it helps me shift my focus and feel constructive in my hour of need.

  9. Hi Surekha! You inspire me to keep on going. I just started my blog September 28th and I never knew I loved writing. I’m able to express my thoughts and be encouraging to others in the process. Thank you for your wonderful blog today 🙂
