What do you think gets better with age?

Age and maturity,I feel ( ofcourse with my own experience) have no correlation. My college friends who are barely 23 are more mature than me who is close to double their age.

As years are passing, I guess I feel much lighter and burdenless. Feel no longer pressurized to be the ideal wife, the doting mother, the caring daughter , the multitasking daughter in law ,the sincere and hardworking employee.

Now I feel after so many years , I am finally ‘Surekha’ , my identity, the name my parents so lovingly gave me, which got submerged with my various other assumed , social identities given by this world.

With the passage of time, I have learnt to absorb many new hobbies and interests. I commenced my running journey 5 years ago and feel it’s the best thing which happened to me. I have again become a student 😂😂 and enjoy dressing up and going to college

With passing years , my life is much more enjoyable and rewarding. This is all because I am totally into myself and myself only 😁. You may call me moody, temperamental ,self centred, self absorbed, self involved and like Sanjay in an earlier comment said,’ mildly but cutely narcissistic’. With age, the only change happened is , you may love me or hate me but cannot ignore me 😉😝. I am Brad Pitt of ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’ , reverse ageing phenomenon.😄😄
