One more Abhaya after Nirbhaya and the same mother’s grief and anguish.

One more crime scene – hospital and the same sloppy investigation and passing the buck.

One more sickening attack on an innocent professional at workplace and the same uproar on non implementation of POSH Act .

One more blatant misuse of public health places and the same glaring non functional security mechanism.

One more obvious exploitation of medical under paid interns and the same fraud on public sentiments.

One more homicide and the same demand for capital punishment and changes in the law.

One more distressing sacrifice of a young life and the same tamasha and drama by all politicians of all hues.

One more cataclysmic human tragedy and the same vultures hovering and encircling .

Whether August 9th 2024 or December 16 2012, what has changed?

Nothing only a gap of 12 years and name change from Nirbhaya to Abhaya .
