Since I had decided to do this Trek, everyone in my group and the organisers kept on dwelling on one fact and that was , the 4thday of the Trek will be most challenging as maximum altitude needs to be ascended and we would reach the quintessential Gadsar pass.

As was the routine we started our trek early in the morning.
The steep climb started immediately.
What made the climb tough was the fact that soil was loose and gravel aplenty .
Due to this, getting grip while climbing was not easy and we all had to be cautious and careful while ascending .
Laying eyes on the Gadsar pass made me realise if such breathtaking sights and beauty are the fruits we would relish post our tough climb, so be it

Trek from Vishansar lake to Gadsar lake, we covered a distance of 16 kms.
The day began with a climb to the Kishansar lake, a short distance from the Vishansar lake.
Despite their near proximity, the twin lakes can only be seen from the top of Gadsar pass.
Getting to the Gadsar pass at 4191m is a difficult effort that will tax your legs and back.
The breathtaking views at the top of the pass, however, compensate for all the efforts and the pain endured .

Amazing
