Wondering today why no story blog but a post blog š¤
Well the reason is that today I wanted to highlight the challenges a runner faces running on the Indian roads especially in rainy season. And if you happen to be on the wrong side of the gender , then it’s like a double whacky šš

The Indian roads are anyway never approving of runner’s . If they happen to see a runner encroaching even an inch of the extreme side of the road, they will get sadistic pleasure , coming towards you in the speed that the chandrayana took off from the earth orbit, chandrayana had important tasks on hand, wonder what tasks our two and four wheeler road travellers have š«£

Being a female runner on the so called wrong side of age. I have had such funny experiences on the road – š 1) Men who apart from ogling will burst out laughing and make fun because you are running. 2) Concerned females who will stop me and say at this age pl don’t run, you will hurt your knees . 3) And my favourite š¤£š¤£, dogs who I believe find me so hot that only I will be chased . Believe me , we would be running in a group, but they will be watching only for a huffing puffing out of breath female who is into her headphones, and seeing the petrified look on her face, is like an invitation for others to join in the fun . I have tried everything, stopped seeing them, talking in a soothing tone ( though I am nerve racked ) but nothing works.

Hey hey if you all by now feel that running is full of danger and hazardous, it is not. Actually running in the rain is the most blissful experience. You feel you are floating and the rain drops falling on makes you crazily happy. Do you feel cold because of the continuous water falling on you ? Actually no, you are running, and your heart rate is rhythmically going up , and with rain falling it sort of balances it and you go in a state of delirium.

Next time it’s raining, forget your jacket and umbrella and just step out in the rain , and get transported into your childhood memories or want more fun, get refreshed by running in the rains šš

Have you ever run alone during rains? On my morn walk, one day, it began to rain. I was left alone, all walkers ran away and must I say I could hardly enjoy. Reading your post, I want to try running in rains

Running alone is great if you have been doing it for sometime. Initially it better to be a part of group. It is scary though if suddenly you are alone and there is a downpour š

I was a runner for many years.
My exercises in the morning now is the 10K steps about an hour and a half and I’ve been doing it for years.
Living in Thailand is much like India we get a lot of rain so when you’re wet you’re wet!
